Ta very much everyone Cathy, it was pretty much just a sample to see how the fabric felted. They usually end up in a box until I realise they are just what I'm looking for in a few months' time Marilyn. I laid out two layers of Merino and put the fabric on top. I never put wool on top when I try fabrics out, I want to see how well the edges attach on their own.

Thanks, ladies! Think I may string them all together and hang from the ceiling like a mobile. They are only about 6-7 inches tall.

Cathy I like the idea of a mobile - I have made a sun glasses case and two clutch bags - need to take pictures. Purchased some interesting fabric I want to use to make a felted tote with.
Also gathering supplies for the Lamination Class Ruth is teaching.

Thanks, Frances and Angie. Pods are fun! I have also been doing more dyeing, but I think this last lot is it for awhile…very time-consuming! Alkanet dyed fiber by catwycliff, on Flickr

Pretty pods Cathy - I know that sometimes it's hard to stop making them when you're in the swing of things!

Thanks, Ruth and Lyn. You are right--It is difficult to stop with the pods once you catch on to it. I had struggled previously with the seams but it gets a bit better every time I make them.
