Your silk paper is beautiful Carole - I used to make quite a lot of silk paper. Haven't made any for a while though.

Carole'smethod is great if the Sericin hasn't been stripped from the silk fibres. I've also used spray starch on laid out fibres - then ironed it all between 2 sheets of baking parchment. Disolvable fabric is another useful 'glue', as is rice paper or its substitute potato starch paper. Ann - I've looked at one or two palette makers and have found your suggestion the most user friendly for me. Some of the colours in the palette are so pleasantly surprising.
