The D65’s are my go-to felting wool. Inexpensive, felts well, dyes well, and so versatile. But to save money, you do have to order the big lot, maybe split it with someone. Let us know how you do, sierra bravo!

Anyone got any tips to were I should look.

Tvatrastickan, where are you? I have a friend that is shearing her Shetlands on Monday. We are close to Ottawa, Canada.

Do you have a local weavers and spinners guild? You could ask around there if you do.

tvatrastickan, are you on Facebook?
The Spinners in the UK group often have fleeces for sale. I can't say I've seen Icelandic, but have seen Shetland.
It's a closed group now though so I'd have to friend you and invite you (or someone else you know)
Be careful of the raw fleeces group on Facebook, there is a known fraudster from the UK advertising goods, she has been convicted of not sending, but still advertises.

I am looking for 7-12 inch lamb curly locks. Natural or dyed. That sell by the oz because I would for now only be buying 4- 8 oz during my trials on my projects

Welcome teachparriott, what kind of project are you planning with the locks? Zara has some gorgeous locks, she's a member here.

Ann, I did try on Australian sites to keep the postage down, and on one UK site that doesn't charge postage (Book Depository)but no luck on any of them. I think it may be out of print.

Tell me what it is. ISBN too if you have it. I have a friend who has lots of out of print books as PBFs and other files.
