Thank you all for so many suggestons. I'll try with cutting out thick felt squares and see what happens. Ann, I hope you post a picture of your purse when it is finished.
Thank you for your concerns.BTW, my back is getting better but I still need to hold back until it is completely recovered. I did some dyeing yesterday which is fiber related activity too, isn't it?
