Sample of my Shibori Stitching on Felt & Carvings…I call them Sea Creatures (generically) but have named them "King Sponge" and "Queen Fish." IMG_0410 by catwycliff, on Flickr Hope others will share their examples of these fun techniques!

Lyn, thanks, and you are right! Queen Fish can be very naughty if she's disturbed by loud noises.

Those are great Cathy - nice way to use the shaping to create a fish.

Thanks all! It was great fun making these pieces, and I mounted them on small black prepared canvases so they actually hang in the kitchen and cheer me when I am felting.

Thanks ladies! These were fun to make but they were not originally planned as sea creatures. Isn't that the way felting projects sometimes develop?
