These are great Zed. I think I like the wet one best but they are both nice.

I'm amazed by the wet felted version of 'Morning on the Seine' - I think it's better than Claude's! And I really like the two pieces you made from the batts of Monet colours.

You ladies are all so talented! Love the chakra rocks and all the Monet pieces are so wonderful. I can't wait to start mine this weekend. Like I needed another excuse to avoid house cleaning! Monet has provided us with a lot of different images to choose from. Hard to pick just one.

I've been inspired by Monet's weeping willow paintings. I made a picture using merino wool and a few strands of tussah silk tops, then took a rotary cutter to it. I trimmed it down to a rectangle measuring 32x18cm (13"x7") and it's awaiting mounting on board. I've chosen black board because it really makes the colours 'pop'. blog post with photo

I love it Lyn! The tussah silk "light" really highlights the piece. Monet would be pleased. Please post pics when it's mounted. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, Zed, for updating the gallery. It's fun to look back and view the contributions to the challenges. Speaking of challenges, guess I need to get moving on the Monet.

Lyn - I added your photo from your blog - I hope you don't mind. Just copy the photo URL, paste it in the reply box and highlight the URL, then hit the little image button. I love the willows. I have been thinking about how I want to do the Monet challenge. I will begin work on it this weekend if all goes well Still have a lampshade to put together too.

Thank you Ruth. I remembered that using the attachment of photos wasn't good if the photo could be found on a blog, but I hadn't remembered about copying the photo URL. (It looks much better with the photo in the thread.)
