embroidery was not too fiddly, I do have curved needles but I didn't think to use them!!! I'll remember next time - thanks, I'm not sure what you could use them for - a cuddle (the stones not the needles) :-)

Not sure what a cuddle is, but the stones are very cool! What about a doorstop?

Cathy - a cuddle is like a long hug.
Carole - I would use stones like that for decorative purposes.

Beautiful stones Carole! Monet did have a thing for irises. The embroidery on the stone is certainly unique. Great job!

As I can see, many of you have already done something for this quarter challenge. I am still thinking.

The felted and embroidered stones are wonderful Carole. I haven't even started thinking about what I'm going to do for this challenge as I've been really busy at work and cramming all our summer activities into our short summer here. Glad the challenge lasts until end of September

Great stone! I was thinking doorstop or paperweight depending on the size. I haven't started to think of it yet either

Thank you for the great ideas, I'm calling it 'from my hand to yours' so it can be anything, tho' I must say I love the idea of stone therapy - you've opened up another channel for me Judith - thank you :-)

yes Lyn, I love messing around down at the river, the dogs charge around in the water and I build stone stacks :-)

And do the dogs take pleasure in destroying them?
