This makes me smile. The mouse is superb and the teacup was made for him.
This is so good - have you explored the possibility of selling the image? Or a series of images using your other mice as well?

Adorable! The images are wonderful - they would make great cards or a wonderful children's book.

Wow! He looks real and the setting is so cute! Thanks for sharing. I think Lyn is right you should do a whole series and make them collectibles!

This is very sweet. you did a wonderful job on it. I think cards or prints would be great. Something for those who cant perhaps afford the original.

All your comments are so lovely It really is nice to have this positive feedback, and I'm glad I'm needle felting again. Thank you so much This mouse sold on my first day back on Etsy! I re-opened my shop, listed the mouse, and by the evening it was sold! Yay! I hadn't thought of making cards out of the images - it's a good idea, thank you. I'll find out how much it would cost to get some done. Lyn - thank you for pinning to your pinterest. I've tried to find you on there, but I'm not having much luck. Do you have a link to your pinterest page? xx

Catherine - I've sent you a pinterest link via private message. Well done on the sale! You can maximise the return from each thing you make by using the image of it. i.e. not only do you sell the mouse but you can then sell an infinite number of items that feature the image. Aileen Clark needle felts pictures to sell, but she also makes them into cards then sells them on Etsy (she also sells mugs and notebooks with her images on them - I've already bought a notebook and 2 mugs from her and they are lovely to use.) Here's a link to her etsy shop Aileen Clark on Etsy

There's fine art America fineartamerica.com/For uploading images, setting the price for each item so people can order a variety of things using the image.

Zed - Fine Art America is a lovely site with fantastic images (and there are other similar sites), but I have a hunch that selling your own cards etc on Etsy and your own blog would probably be more successful.

I'm fairly certain they would, too, Lyn. Well, for other people. I don't really have the faith to shell out the money upfront.

You've highlighted quite an important point Zed. Money usually goes to money. Someone with lots of spare cash and a good idea stands much more chance of succeeding than someone with just a good idea. It all boils down to having enough resources to produce and promote massively and quickly.
