good luck, it's a great idea, how about a quirky frog with bright coloured patterns on it's body, something that 'jumps' off the page :-)

I'm still wrapping my head around the whole concept, and what I'd like to see in it (and, like you said, MTRuth, I need to try to stand out)... I recruited my partner to draw some ideas for me, so I'm slowly progressing

and I bet there are not many frogs out there, you need something original, different to capture buyers eyes :-)

You know, that Waldorf type stuff is popular, and I think the whole idea with the 'dolls' is that they don't have features, maybe something like that?

Zed, although I do find the Waldorf style quite lovely, I think it's not really me ("Felt Buddies style," if you know what I mean). I like mine to be a bit more on the fun and even creepy side, like my avatar's Ninja Bunny Carole, it's funny you mentioned a frog, I have one to finish on my shelf, must get back to it!

Leonor - I'm sure your style has a following. I think you are on the right track sticking to a style that you've already developed. That would definitely make your kits stand out as most kits I see are cute and nearly too sweet.

I'd definitely agree with Ruth, even if it's not the main/first one you go with, something unusual would definitely set you apart. Did you google 'needle felting (starter) kits' to see what came up? That'd give you an idea of what you can avoid or improve on.

Ruth, my whole idea is indeed to appeal to those looking for something a little different from the norm, hopefully I'll be able to make it happen. I know this might not make perfect business sense, but I'd rather sell less but have a nice following than just sell like crazy but have no one remember who they bought it from Zed, I haven't googled it but I have looked some up on Etsy. For now I haven't gone into this with too much detail since I have commissions to finish, but with any luck I'll be diving in this May Have I told you nice people how amazing and supporting you all are? Thanks very much, truly!
