Hello, I've been out of action for a while and am hoping to get my 'mojo' working again very soon. It's sooo incredibly boring being reduced to light or no duties!

you can sketch out designs. search out inspiring peices. Can you needle felt? or stitch on some felt you all ready have. I hope you are better soon so you can get back to rolling and throwing.

I have been out of commission for a while also. Think it is an ulcer, but waiting to do more tests. I also have been taking watercolor and pastel classes. Trying to incorporate some of this into my Mixed Media category. I finally, finally finished my Metamorphosis and it is hanging at the Botanical Center. You can see it here. judysfiberart.blogspot.com I am determined to do the Jackson Pollack challenge this weekend. I am so far behind.

Judy, I'm glad to hear you're feeling better and learning new things. I did that during my recovery and it helped keep my sanity. Metamorphisis turned out great. I love the variation of colors on the leaves and all the great detail down to the insects and web. I look forward to seeing you challenge piece. Be well!

Judy is tired and so far behind because she celebrated her birthday twice this week. Judith do keep popping on her and let us know what you think about what everyone's up to.

Zed, yes I can get out now and I'm on the mend, managed to do some sewing yesterday. The problem was that I couldn't sit or stand, so I was confined to either lying flat or walking about the house, neither being conducive to doing anything creative or useful! I've read everything in sight and have learned a bit about printmaking amongst other things. It would be a good time to get out with the camera, Spring is my favourite season. The ironing mountain is growing - I'll see if I can attack some of that today which will make some space in my craft room! Judy, I hope you're feeling better soon.
