thank you, and I'll try the new link - I had to leave the metal in as it's a sort of mesh that I had cut into strips, I was planning to use it in a bigger project to shape a vase, back to the drawing board :-)

My attempt to clean that Texas mohair was unsuccessful. I pulled a handful apart and threw it in the dryer on air dry for about 20 minutes. A little of the veg matter came out and made a real mess of the dryer, but there is still plenty imbedded. I think it's going back to the store! This is more work than I want to do especially since I paid for scoured. Unless anyone has any other suggestions?

I hope they take it back for you . Scoured just means washed. Unfortunately it doesn't say anything about the vegi mater in it.

He told me that the picture on the website was what they usually sold and it had no matter in it. (They now plan to show what they have to avoid more customer disappointment.) But this shipment wasn't checked closely enough. Their fault. They offered me a small credit for the inconvenience if I chose to keep it, but I don't think that will cover my time. They gave me the option to take it back. I'll contact him and see if the offer still stands.

thats good. good customer service is important. if they take it back you are more likely to buy again. Sounds like they have learned you have to take a picture of what you actually are selling
