Frances, the book cover turned out great. It's nice you were able to come up with such a creative solution for the sleeves! Yes, blanket stitch is not easy. I'm sure like many other things it takes practice, but I think you did a nice job.

the book cover is super, and blanket stitch can hit or miss depending on the evenness of the fabric you are stitching, but this look great :-)

That looks really nice, Francis, the fabric you chose matches perfectly! I agree with Carole, I can't see very well as my eyes flicker, so do blanket stitching really slowly and by feel, and I know I've done it neatly, but the fabric can pull it or be soft and it ends up looking like I did it in the dark

The felt and the notebook turned out wonderful. I often notice things about my work after taking a picture. or worse I notice something ugly in the background. I am sure no will notice the stitching because they will be busy admiring your lovey felt.
