I just read this thread and I am sooo envious. I am always trying to get my hands on lovely wool and both look amazing - the locks, oh my, the locks! Any chance you bought them in the UK?...

Leonor, If you are referring to the first two posted photos, I actually purchased those boxes on-line from Ebay, and the seller was an American who did not know much about wool. I thought I was buying roving! But I guess from the comments I received on this forum, I consider it a lucky mistake!

Ah, I knew it was too good to be a repeatable thing Very lucky mistake indeed, especially those gorgeous locks... I've looked on eBay but to be honest haven't seen anything of late that might tickle my fancy. I am on a mission to find a nice farm near me to visit and hopefully convince them to surrender some fleece over to me...
