I do not get my soap that wet. I put it to the side and just wet my hands, pick it up and get lather on my hands. I then work the lather onto my body. I leave the soap in a shallow dish that lets it dry out easily. I never just immerse it in water, as it really dissolves quickly. I use it for anything that I do with my hands. I make a good lather before I rinse and my hands feel silky before I dry them. I also did not get the one with fragrance. I am sold on this product to help with my dry skin problems. I am most impressed with the softness I am getting on my heels.

I keep forgetting to post my olive oil soap results. I've been using it in the shower for over a month now and NO more white flakes when I take off my socks, no cracked heels. I'm hooked! I also love using it for felting from the bar. Thanks for the suggestion!

Although I love making things, I have always stayed away from soap making because of the lye. Not only do I have sensitive skin and eczema, but asthma also--I stay away from most chemicals. Have been using olive oil soap bought at Whole Foods, a health/grocery store chain in the USA. Very easy on my hands, and very inexpensive to buy, about $3 a bar. But Halay, now you've got me wondering about the purity of the olive oil soap that I buy. No label on the bars at Whole Foods, but think I'll ask.

Luvswool, I purchased Kiss My Face brand from Puritan Pride online. No shipping costs and no minimum. They have a full ingredient list. I don't recall the price, but it was on sale.
