If you are new or perhaps have never used the message system here you look up at the top just under out name. If you have a message there should be a number over the word Messages. To read it or to send a message just click.

I had fun putting together my exchange parcel for Willymae but when I got to the Post Office I found out that animal hair/ fibers are not allowed to be posted to the USA! so I have had a reshuffle and sorry Willymae you won't be getting the natural Gotland or black Romney from straight off the farm, once it is felted it is classed as a fabric so would be allowed, I hope, fingers crossed. I have tried to find if there is a good website for a clear view of what is allowed and what is not to different countries, but so far not luck, they all seem very confusing.
If anyone does not hear back from their partners let me know I would be happy to do more than one parcel.

It's really hard to follow all the rules especially since they change them on a regular basis.

I think if it is washed it's ok but not raw unwashed fibres.

It's diseases, plants and insects they are trying to stop spreading.

Fair enough Ann, if it's raw wool, but washed fibre isn't any different than sending say, a woollen garment.

I think Australia and NZ would have been horrified at some Zwartble I bought once, it must have been 10% beetles! Dead though, unlike the wriggling moth larvae infested Jacob I got from Wingham once.
